Really interesting place to stop for a quick visit if you are passing through. If you are looking to do a bit of a road trip its a nice round trip from the city. Plenty of places to stop along the way. We were surprised at how still & clear the water was.

There is a small parking lot and toilets right next to the lake.

Watch out for millions of Christmas spiders at this time of year. Otherwise beautiful well looked after and interesting place to visit

I won’t miss it. It’s one of the few out of this world.

Went here in August and the thrombolites were submerged because the water level is higher during winter. You can still see them under the water though. Nevertheless, I recommend going only during summer.

Such an unique place, and so interesting to see some of the earliest forms of life. And in the car park you may get to encounter some of the lowest forms of life, so lock up.
